ECHO’s new DCS2500 T is a battery-powered top-handle chainsaw. Its cutting performance is on par with ECHO’s industry-leading, petrol top-handle chainsaw, the CS2511TES.

It has been designed and built for arborists undertaking the most gruelling of commercial work and is packed with a host of features to ensure maximum productivity and operator comfort. Key features of this new battery-powered top-handle chainsaw include the patented Quick Draw harness ring enabling the operator to hook and unhook the chainsaw in one movement. The saw is IPX4 water resistance rated for protection against the elements. There is also an anti-slip handle grip for precise operation and a patented thumb rest for increased operator comfort. The saw comes with a 1/4" pitch 0.043 or 3/8" pitch 0.050 gauge bar and chain, side-access chain tensioner and tool-less oil cap.
The 50V system, using the latest Lithium-ion technology, provides high-density energy, compared to traditional heavier, less powerful battery technology. The professional-grade maintenance-free brushless motor ensures long-lasting performance.
The chainsaw uses a 2.5Ah battery which offers extended run times. The rapid charger ensures the 2.5Ah battery is boosted to 100% capacity in just 42 minutes – meaning you experience less downtime. The 2.5Ah battery fits a range of other tools in the 50v range.
