Distel Steel 3.1 Shank
- Lightweight: With only around 2.4 kg (5.3 lb) per pair, the Distel Steel climbers are among the lightest on the market.
- Highest stability: Strong and rigid laser cut steel construction for highest stability and durability.
- Well protected: Powder coated shank with a fine textured black paint, which increases impact and scratch resistance.
- Sustainably produced: State-of-the-art manufacturing techniques, short and preferably regional supply chains, fair working conditions in a German production facility and a high-quality, durable product with available spare parts for easy upkeep, ensuring the smallest possible ecological footprint.
Pads Classic
- Fit snugly around the leg and in the shell, thanks to vertical cuts.
- Optimal fit in the shell and ultimately on the user's leg, providing a high level of comfort.
- 17 mm (0.67") thick foam cushions every pressure point and impact.
Gaffs with Black Teflon (PTFE) Coating
- High-quality steel precision casting from southern Germany.
- Special heat treatment that creates a structure with an excellent compromise between hardness and toughness.
- Rockwell C hardness (HRC): 50
- PTFE (widely known as Teflon) drastically reduces friction and breakaway torques, e.g. in aluminium sockets. Easier release of the gaff from the wood saves force and stress.
- Pre-sharpened, extremely sharp gaffs ready for immediate use.
Straps
- Lower classic straps made from extremely durable, waterproof and robust coated webbing. Constructed from US-made BioThane® material, extremely resistant to resin and sawdust and able to withstand the daily rigours of tree care.
- High-quality, extra-wide upper straps with Velcro® brand fasteners ensure a firm, play-free fit with optimum pressure distribution and a high level of comfort.
