SORB-XT 5L Sachet Organic Binder

Highly efficient absorbent SORB®XT is a 100% organic binder that can absorb all hydrocarbons as well as many chemicals, paints, colours, solvents, polymers and much more.

Suitable for use on water, roads and all other surfaces. In just a few seconds, almost 8-10 times its own weight is absorbed. Due to the low weight of the binder, handling is pleasingly easy and cost-effective disposal is a significant advantage compared to conventional binders.

Multi-Absorbent, grain size 0.125-4.0mm, 100% organic, buoyant binder, type I, II, III-R, SF, hydrophobic / oleophilic, bulk density approx. 140 g/L, works within seconds, highly efficient, scatter out, absorbs dangerous substances.

SORB®XT can be used on every surface. After use on asphalt a slip resistance of 95 % is guaranteed within seconds

• Type I suitable for use on water, also flowing water

• “R” certified skid resistance of 95% (requirement: at least 85%)

Application

• spread out SORB ®XT evenly over the leaked substance
• work into the material (use mechanical tool, such as a broom, a shovel, Peko XT PLUS by SORB® or a dredge)
• fields of application: plants, companies, environment protection, traffic, municipals, on water/streets/asphalt, usual grounds, industrial grounds, special grounds

After application

• skim off or sweep up the substance from the surface
• dispose of the contaminated material following the respective valid laws and local regulations

• store in resealable container or bag
• store in an dry place with low humidity to avoid mold
