Carabiners have improved significantly in the last 10 - 15 years becoming much lighter but retaining the strength if not adding to it. Whether it is tree climbing, tree rigging, rope access or rock climbing Skyland can provide you with the latest carabiners to hit the market. The recommendation for tree surgery is a 3-way carabiner also known as lock safe, it should be used on all lifeline ropes but is not essential for holding tools, a screw gate is sufficient and comes in a touch cheaper than the lock safe. We have DMM, Petzl, Edelrid and more choose from as we only source the best carabiners for your needs. For IRATA the most commonly used are the steel screw gates and for this work section we have DMM and Foin carabiners.
